Do you like fine food and wine? Enjoy cooking? Fancy tasting some delicious gourmet food and drink from Switzerland and beyond? If so, make your way over to the Fine Foood Fair Gourmesse.ch which will be held this Friday 5th October until Monday 8th October at the Kongresshaus near Burkliplatz in Zurich. With over 150 exhibitors the 18th Gourmesse.ch exhibition is bound to offer something for everyone.
As well as fine foods and delicacies such as cheeses, coffee, bread, chocolate and meats from all over the country, and from Italy and Sicily too, there will be show kitchens featuring chefs such as Michelin starred chef Antonio Alampi and his team, Tobias Funke and Mauro Gianinazzi from Funkes Obstgarten and Pacal Haag and Tobias Hosli from Restaurant Hiltl to name just a few. There will be opportunities for tastings, master classes and seminars on all things “foodie”. There will also be great selections of wines, beers and champagne to tempt your palate.
And why not bring your children along? Children under 12 are free and there are complimentary childcare facilities for them where they will be entertained with food themed projects of their own. There are also reduced entry prices for 13-16 year olds and as well as for pensioners.
