Have you ever visited the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst? Now is a great time to go as with the newly renovated Löwenbräukunst-Areal, the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst finally has a permanent framework for its temporary collections.The first three collections are dedicated to contemporary work in sculpture. The first collection features works by British artists Phyllida Barlow and Mark Leckey, and American scultptor Jimmie Durham and Romanian artist Daniel Knorr.
In fact if you fancy learning a little more about the Museum, and practising your German at the same time, there is a curator’s tour of the Museum (in German) taking place this Thursday 22nd November at 6.30pm, led by the Director of the Museum, Heike Munder.
