If you favour going just outside Zurich why not visit the Jucker Pumpkin Farm in Seegraben to admire their amazing “Olympic Display” and giant pumpkins. Earlier this week in the Swiss Pumpkin Championship competition (see photos) Beni Meier’s gigantic pumpkin set a new European record weighing 768.5 kg on the scales! This pumpkin is competing in the European Championships on Sunday, October 14 in Ludwigsburg in Germany, but the other giant pumpkins will still be on display until 4th November. The Juckerfarm is open both Saturday and Sunday and you can even try out some of the seasonal pumpkin delicacies. Their pumpkin soup is delicious!
