An exciting weekend in and around Zurich! Not only is the city looking so pretty bathed in a blanket of snow, but the mountains have lots of fresh powder and it looks like there may be more on the way. Check this page and scroll down to “Skiing” for some nearby ski-resort suggestions and ski reports and do read our visit to Atzmaennig. We’ve also got a short photo report on Flumserberg. Do check our Winter information sheet which we prepared earlier in the Season with some tips for your ski trip and dealing with the snow.
But if you’re staying in Zurich on Saturday afternoon why not “Say Something Nice”?
This is an initiative born of some volunteers from the Hub in the Viadukt in Zurich and which started in New York organised by the Guggenheim Museum together with “Improv Everywhere”. In German it’s called “etwas nettes sagen” and it starts at 2pm in the Lindenhof in the centre of Zurich there will be a megaphone set up and you can pop by and say something nice for the whole of Zurich to hear!
